Beck has been a certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach since 2022.
I have always been drawn to a homestead/homemaker type lifestyle. I grew up on a farm and learned early the value in raising and growing our own food.
Even with all that knowledge, as my husband and I got older, we started to experience some health issues. We would consult with doctors that said food had nothing to do with autoimmune diseases.
I knew that advice was wrong and I felt it was my responsibility to do whatever I could to improve the health of my family.
A lot of people get into improving their health when an issue arises. It’s called “The Wounded Healer Phenomenon “ and even though I felt like I had a good handle on the benefits of growing our own food, I felt it was time for a deep dive into all things HEALTH!
I decided to enroll in “The Institute for Integrative Nutrition’s Holistic Health Coaching” program. This was a year long class and we learned so much in this program. Health and wellness is about a lot more than just food. It’s about everything that affects your life. Your relationships, your career, physical activity, finances, joy, spirituality, lifestyle and nutrition to name a few. I didn’t stop there though. I was hungry for knowledge and so I took another course in visual diagnosis, using herbs as medicine, chakras and energy, meditation and organ meridians.
It has been so fulfilling for me to help others with their wellness journeys and it means everything that I have helped my husband into remission from his debilitating Autoimmune Disease.
As a Certified Holistic Health Coach, I am much more aware of the products we are using in our homes. The products we use on our skin and hair. The products we use to wash our cloths and clean our homes. It matters now more than ever what ingredients are in these products. I got tired of going to the store and not being able to find good, clean lotion or shampoo that was actually good for us. The labels had all this “stuff” listed and some of the ingredients have been known to cause cancer. WHAT??? This was alarming to me. So I have decided to do something about it. I am developing a product line that will actually benefit our health. Organic, Pure and Natural ingredients will be the key to this product line and I am beyond excited to help your home become a Healthy Home.
